Prerequisites (when dealing with a Google service (e.g. Sheets, Slides) ):
If https://www.google.com/appsstatus#hl=en&v=status doesn't provide reasoning or specification of an outage for a Google service,
the following instructions could fix the problem occurring with that service.
Sometimes updates of the browser, individual sets of cookies or changes in your extensions can cause conflicts with certain scripts or web applications.
In order to rule out any of these conflicts please follow these instructions, so we can get your browser into a blank state!
1. Open Google Chrome and enter your Settings.
2. Navigate to "Privacy & Security" -> Clear browsing data
• select the Time range "All time"
• below, select everything except "Passwords and other sign-in data" and "Browsing history"
■ "Clear data"!
3. Try again, does the issue persist? If yes, then one of your extensions is likely interfering here.
4. To fix the problem please visit "chrome://settings/reset" and reset the browser completely:
Note: This will reset your startup page, new tab page, search engine and pinned tabs.
It will also disable all extensions and clear temporary data like cookies.
Your bookmarks, history and saved passwords will not be cleared.
